Games Lab is offering an opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as QA game tester for our high quality online casino games.

Primary responsibilities will include:

·         Bug identification and verification on various platforms.

·         Cross checking all relevant implementation documents and demo videos with game builds.

·         Produce accurate QA reports of game features.

·         Play testing products on various platforms.

Essential Experience and Skills Required:

·         Previous experience working within a slots QA role a must.

·         An excellent eye for detail and quality

·         Ability to work methodically.

·         Strong communication skills

·         Ability to work to deadlines.

MAYA GENERALISTS - FULL TIME

Games Lab is offering a rare opportunity for a talented individual to join our CG Department and have the chance to develop high quality online casino games.

As part of animation team located in our Chatswood studio, you will produce character and  FX animations for a variety of pre-rendered feature.

 Essential Skills Required:

·         Quality animation skills which demonstrate a thorough and creative understanding of weight, timing and performance

·         A good understanding of topology and edge flow for deformation when Modelling

·         Solid texturing skills within Photoshop

·         Intermediate skills within After Effects

·         Strong communication skills

·         Ability to work to deadlines

·         Be open to and willing to act upon direction

·         Production experience is highly regarded

·         Zbrush/Mudbox experience is highly regarded

GAMING ARTIST - FULL TIME

A rare opportunity exists for an exceptionally talented and creative Illustrator/Graphic Artist to join our studio situated in Chatswood.

As part of our close-knit team of artists, you will be creating high-quality original artwork primarily for the casino/gaming industry all the way from concept stage through to finished digital artwork.

Essential skills required:

  • Possess a versatile skill set with the ability to produce premium quality, original illustrations in both a realistic and cartoon style

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to deliver high end finished art

  • Ability to produce unique characters, environments and objects within any given theme

  • A strong sense of colour theory, typography, UI and graphic design

  • Ability to follow a brief and work under direction, as an individual and as part of a team

  • Ability to manage time and work deadlines

  • Display excellent communication skills and have an eye for detail

Formal art and design qualifications will be highly regarded.

Previous industry and studio experience is also an advantage.

AFTER EFFECTS GENERALIST - FULL TIME

Games Lab is offering a rare opportunity for a talented individual to join our Post Production team and have the chance to develop high quality online casino games.

This is an entry level position which will primarily involve compilation and layout using Adobe After Effects.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Compilation, layout and exporting of game packages and assets using Adobe After Effects

  • Sourcing & editing in-game sound effects

  • Producing marketing game screens and demo videos

  • Creating and maintaining accurate and detailed implementation documentation

  • Providing quality control checks on your own and other team members work

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency with Adobe After Effects

  • Basic knowledge of video production & editing techniques

  • Basic knowledge of motion graphic techniques

  • Ability to edit art assets in Adobe Suite

  • Ability to create detailed & accurate documentation in MS Word

  • Self-motivation, attention to detail & excellent written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of animation and audio engineering techniques and industry experience is highly regarded.
